How to scan foods using the barcode scanner.

To scan foods with the barcode reader on the Grid:

1. Tap on the Grid.
2. Locate the Scan Barcode icon (near the top left of the Grid icons).
3. Tap on the Scan Barcode Icon.
4. Aim the barcode reader at the UPC symbol on the food product in a well lit location.
5. You can also tap on Manual Entry to manually input the UPC code.
6. The pop-up should appear allowing you to verify the food you just scanned.
7. Tap on the label to accept and customize. Tap "Save" when finished.
8. You can also swipe left for more options or you can create a new food.
9. The food will now appear on your Grid.
